Explore the magnificent city of Dubrovnik through the most sumptuous and best preserved medieval fortifications in Europe.

I propose here a 2 km route that will allow you to explore the city of Dubrovnik from several angles.
Start your journey at the entrance located to the right of the fountain of Onofrio. This is also the place to get your entrance ticket (250 kuna - About $45 CAD).
In this walk, you will observe the D'Onofrio fountain, the Franciscan convent, the Dominican convent, the Clock tower, Fort Lovrjenac*, the bridge and the gate of Pile, the Hilton Imperial hotel, Mount Srd, the Minceta tower, Fort St-Jean, the old Port, and more.
Start your journey at the opening of the walls for 2 reasons.
The walls is the number 1 attraction in Dubrovnik. Start early to avoid large crowds.
No shadow on the walls, so you don’t want to start your journey with the sun at its highest point.
*Your entrance ticket also gives you access to Fort Lovrjenac. Keep your ticket with you and visit the fort on the same day as you visit the walls so as not to pay an additional fee of 100 kuna (about 18$ CAD).
