If you have a half or a day to spend in the beautiful city of Bruges, here is an itinerary that will allow you to discover some of its most beautiful places.
At the station exit, start your walk towards the Begijnhof (Beguinage). This historic site dating back to the 13th century is a true haven of peace nestled in the heart of Bruges, surrounded by its elegant white houses and peaceful garden. Let yourself be carried away by the calm of the picturesque alleys and dive into the soothing atmosphere that reigns there.
Then continue your walk towards the MinneWater Park (Lake of Love). This park, surrounded by picturesque bridges, is the ideal place for a romantic walk or a moment of relaxation. The park offers sublime views of the canals and is perfect for taking beautiful souvenir photos. Take a moment to admire the calm of the place before continuing your visit.
Then finish your walk towards the Markt square. This is where you can admire the impressive Belfry of Bruges, climb its 366 steps for a panoramic view of the city, or simply sit on a terrace to enjoy a meal or a local drink. The medieval architecture of the buildings surrounding the square, with their colorful facades, is a spectacle in itself. The Markt is also an excellent place to do some shopping or taste the famous Belgian fries and/or waffles!
