A visit to Teide National Park offers exceptional views and delights anyone in search of natural beauty.

I propose here two ways to visit the Teide National Park: free and paid.

Free

You can explore the Teide National Park for free by driving yourself and stopping at different viewpoints and trails. This will offer you breathtaking panoramas and a pleasant experience at your own pace.

Paid

To climb Teide, you can pay in advance and make a reservation. The cable car and hike to Pico del Teide will give you a unique experience. But, be prepared to wait in line for long periods. Additionally, preparing for this option is necessary because the permissions for climbing the Teide are limited and run out rapidly.

During my trip, I opted for the free option and I do not regret this choice at all.

The road is very pleasant to drive and offers incredible views. The viewpoints allow you to admire the Teide volcano, as well as other volcanoes in the national park. In addition, this option also gives you the opportunity to go hiking at your own pace.

Regarding hiking, the national park of Teide offers hikers a multitude of trails suitable for all levels. Those who enjoy a challenge can climb the steep slopes of the volcano, while those seeking a more moderate adventure can opt for trails that cross lunar landscapes. In any case, hikers can explore unique rock formations and fields of petrified lava.

A highlight of our trip was a short hike, only to discover that it actually took place in the second largest crater on planet Earth. WOW!

To conclude, visiting Teide National Park in daylight is an activity that will delight all travelers seeking adventure, natural beauty and wonder.
