How to visit Mount Srd in Dubrovnik.

Here are some tips for visiting the Mount Srd to its full potential.

Firstly, I advise you to buy your ticket* at a kiosk and not at the entrance of the panoramic gondola. This will make you avoid the waiting lines and go directly to the panoramic gondola.

In addition, present yourself 1 hour before sunset to avoid a long wait and don’t forget to bring a small bottle of sparkling wine for the occasion.

Once on Mount Srd, head to the extreme left. This is where the sunset will be most spectacular.

After sunset, return to the base of the panoramic gondola to admire the illuminated old town from the different observation levels.

You can also enjoy a nice meal or a drink at the Panorama, but for that you need to book your place in advance since this restaurant is very popular.

Free option: It is also possible to walk up and down Mount Srd. However, if you go down after sunset, the trail will be dark since there is no light.
