The Breathtaking Hike PR-TF 6.3: Benijo to Cruz del Draguillo takes you through some of the most spectacular landscapes of Tenerife, offering you breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding mountains.
Whether you are an experienced hiker or simply looking to soak up nature outdoors, this hike is an unforgettable experience.
To access this trail, you will pass through the famous Anaga park, some beautiful picturesque villages and stunning black sand beaches. In particular, you will be charmed by the village of Taganana and the beaches that coast Almaciga, especially Playa Del Roque.
The PR-TF 6.3 trail takes you through rugged cliffs and coastal trails, offering breathtaking ocean panoramas.
We followed the advice from the app All Trails which suggests to hike in the opposite direction. We did not regret this decision at all. This allowed us to start with the most difficult part of the trail and then finish quietly on the coastal trail.
Note, it is not recommended to do this trail if you fear of heights and make sure to bring a very good amount of water and good hiking shoes. I also recommend that you arrive before 10 am since parking spaces are very limited.
The PR-TF 6.3 trail is an immersive experience in the wild nature of the island, allowing you to discover Tenerife from a unique angle and create lasting memories in a breathtaking natural environment.
